Do we or don’t we add a boat to our setup? This was the discussion we had for months before we headed off on our lap. Ultimately it was a great decision as a family we have had a boat load of fun so far and with many more years of fun still to come.
It also changes the way you experience your journey and adds another opportunity to explore different places you just can’t go with a 4x4.
Rather than place an order from interstate we agreed at the start that we would wait and meet the team at Enlightened boating in Queensland before making any deposit.
Well what an amazing crew, Geoff and Amanda had years of experience up their sleeve personally & professionally so we quickly felt we could trust their opinions as we didn’t have that experience to draw on.
We decided to go with the 3.7 Ultimate and sat down with Geoff to customise our options, ice-bait well, rod holders, and electrics package etc. We also opted for the custom black Gelcoat exterior for something a bit different.
So why enlightened boating……..well weight and who doesn’t have to watch and monitor this when towing and travelling Australia.
Our boat is the 3.7m and weighing in at 68kgs, yep you read that correctly it’s not a typo. One big reason why we chose Enlightened boating.
